FAQs

When is the best time to trek Everest Base Camp?
The best time to trek to Everest Base Camp is during the spring season (March to May) and autumn season (September to November). In spring, the weather is generally clear, with mild temperatures and blooming rhododendron forests. Autumn offers stable weather, clear skies, and crisp mountain views. Both seasons provide optimal trekking conditions, allowing trekkers to enjoy the stunning landscapes and breathtaking views of the Everest region. It is advisable to avoid the monsoon season (June to August) and the harsh winter months (December to February) due to challenging weather conditions.
What is the duration of Kathmandu-Lukla Flight?
It is a thrilling 30 minutes journey that offers stunning aerial views of the Himalayan landscape. Due to the challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions, flights to Lukla are operated by skilled pilots with extensive mountain flying experience. It is advisable to book flights in advance and be prepared for possible delays or cancellations due to weather conditions.
Is there Altitude Sickness problem in EBC Trek?
Altitude sickness, also known as acute mountain sickness (AMS), can be a concern during the Everest Base Camp trek due to the high altitude. As trekkers ascend to higher elevations, the air becomes thinner, resulting in lower oxygen levels. This can cause symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, and difficulty sleeping. We have set aside 2 days of acclimatization at Namche and Dingboche to mitigate the effects of AMS in EBC Trek.

mi quinto viaje a Nepal

Totalmente recomendable.
